Balloon artist or not, I think anyone would agree that cleaning up after a party is the most dreadful part!

1. **Time and Effort**: It takes a lot of time and energy to bring a vision to life, and it all comes down in 2 minutes. A question I often get is, “Can’t you reuse them?” The short answer is, unfortunately, no.

2. **Tight Schedules**: Breakdowns usually happen immediately after an event or early the next day. In this case, the client gave me permission to arrive the following day 🙌🏼. Otherwise, a 7 PM teardown after an already long day of preparation and setup would have been necessary.

3. **Logistics and Planning**: Coordinating teardown requires a lot of logistics and planning to ensure either you or a team member is available at the designated pickup time. If not, you risk having an unhappy client, planner, or venue. For this event, I had my assistant waiting for me downstairs due to parking restrictions—one of many pains of working in a major metropolitan city.

Ok it may seem like I am complaining but honestly this feeling is super short lived! My biggest reward is knowing that all my hard work is appreciated which is why continue to create and offer my clients the best service.

A little back story of how I almost couldn’t do this event 🤯 but I am so glad it worked out because this client was such a sweet heart to work with and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to slay her party !

When I booked this event I completely forgot that I had already purchased my flight to Float 2024 leaving on the 8th - her party was the afternoon of the 9th !!!
•
It was early enough in the process where I could have refunded her the deposit apologized and stuck with my original plan - however the connection was so pure my heart didn’t feel right to do this.
•
Luckily I added trip protection ( which honestly I never do) got my full refund for the original trip and was able to find a flight right after her set up !
•
Not only was I able to follow through on my commitment to the client but I also made it just in time for my convention!
•

Yes you read correctly- we had this party set and ready to go in just 1 HOUR and here are my tips on how we did it.

Disclaimer ****Not every event can or will be executed within 1 hour but on those occasions where it’s a MUST here are some ways my team and I are prepared to execute!
•
We will always come with pre-inflated balloons to your event, this is key to a quick set up. But for this you need the right ride 🚚
•
We rented a 10ft box truck for the height and length making it possible to bring a fully constructed 20ft arch 2 8ft stands and 20 orbs with space to spare.
•
Have a strong plan of where everything is going to go before you arrive on site. We can’t always see the venue before hand - lucky I knew this location very well but for those venues I haven’t been to I will always ask my clients for photos of the space.
•
Last but certainly not least - having a team. I mostly work alone yet for an event where speed is priority or the event is larger in scale having help is truly the difference of one hour to two.
•
So if you are planning an event and time is of importance - let us know and we will always help you make the best decision for your event needs.

I absolutely could not move on to sharing the next installment until showing you this amazing staircase I had the opportunity to jazz up! The photos do it no justice I swear and the views from this office building is one of the best the city has to offer.

Little fact about me : While in college I was apart of an internship program called IN-ROADS who worked with minority college students and provided business training to match them with Fortune 500 companies. I remember we had the opportunity to attend a training at the Wall Street Journal building and it was then I said to myself that I would experience this gorgeous city from as many view points as I possibly could and the view from this installation did not disappoint.

I plan to build more connections both professionally and personally. Learning in community is a pillar of success - alone you can succeed but together you can maintain.

I plan to grow in my faith with the the lord. Pray more and worry less. Learn how I can live in his image more and exercise his love towards others.

I have to be honest- this one hits a little home for me.
My father was a super intendant/ general contractor. He would come home with his legs so swollen you could see the ridges of his socks imprinted on his calves. I would help him remove his boots and massage his feet so he would feel better (for a small fee of $5😅 I’ve been a hustler from the jump ya’ll).

Although I wasn’t able to celebrate the 20+ years of service he completed - I was able to help my client celebrate her father and that fills my soul more than you can ever imagine. I know how hard this line of business can be and I have the highest level of respect for those who are currently in it or who ever were.
